Sermon Titled: First Love - Revelation 2:1-7
Revelation 2:1-7
“To the angel[a] of the church in Ephesus write: These are the words of him who holds the seven stars in his right hand and walks among the seven golden lampstands. 2 I know your deeds, your hard work and your perseverance. I know that you cannot tolerate wicked people, that you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them false. 3 You have persevered and have endured hardships for my name, and have not grown weary.
4 Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first. 5 Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place. 6 But you have this in your favor: You hate the practices of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
7 Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.

Pastor Chuck Durham
Pastor Chuck Durham served as an Elder at Falls Mountain church in Falls Mountain, Alabama for many years. He also served over the Finance committee as Chairperson. He served as Church Council Chairperson. He also led the church through the disaffiliation with the UMC (United Methodist Church). He directly organized worship services in absence of a full time Pastor of Falls Mountain church while a reselection process was taking place. He served as Lay Speaker for the church until the new pastor was selected. Mr. Durham began Wednesday night meals and night service at the church. Worked on Vacation Bible School and Sunday school services. Organized Revival Service for the church. He now resides as one of the appointed Pastoral leaders at ALABAMA CITY CHURCH in Gadsden, Alabama and works with Cindy and Ronda in church administration; and Pastor Tony to carry out the growth goals and aspirations of what God has for our church. Pastor Chuck has also by invitation, preached at several churches in Gadsden, Alabama and surrounding areas.
Pastor Tony Franklin
Pastor Tony Franklin has been in Ministry for 21 years. He is founder of Unified Ministries for Christ (umfc.yolasite.com), an online ministry for Christian biblical preaching and teaching; and helps prepare Pastors in foreign countries to advance their ministries. He founded Gods House of Grace church in Irving, Texas. He is ordained in Baptist and Non-denominational Ministry. He had a 30 minute daily Christian radio show on 365 Online Christian radio for 3 years.. He has taught the Books of Revelation for over 18 years to Pastor's and congregations in churches through out Texas and Facebook online. He has created the Books of Revelation Study Guides, read by close to 100,000 Christians since 2008. He produced and performed Gospel CD's titled "Jammin For Jesus" now published online. He creates and produces short video productions titled "Morning Encouragements" - which are Christian inspirational videos circulating on many social media platforms daily since 2015. He was an Associate Minister at Falls Mountain Church. He is a teacher in Deliverance Ministry, Spiritual Warfare, and Demonic Activity. He has led Christian street marches in Dallas, Texas to protect marriage. He is a certified marriage and personal counselor. He is a Sheriffs Deputy Jailer. He ministers in jail. And he has led over 225 inmates to Christ, 210 of them he baptized. He has performed around 270 total baptisms in Ministry. He has also performed 13 marriages. By invitation, he has spoken in numerus churches and church conferences in Texas, and a few churches in Alabama (to date). Pastor Franklin also develops websites for churches (he developed this website for Alabama City Church). He does Artificial Intelligence promo's, and social presence ads for ministries. Now as a appointed Pastoral leader at Alabama City Church, Pastor Tony Franklin works with Pastor Chuck Durham and our church administrator's, to advance Alabama City Church in our community and online.
