At Alabama City Church It all began with a simple idea fueled by a deep passion to see our church grow. As a spiritual community, we pride ourselves on personal attention and dedication to lifting up the name of Yahshua - Christ and spreading the Gospel. Our approach is rooted in integrity, ensuring that everything we do reflects our commitment to God the Father (Yahweh) and his son Jesus Christ.

Pastor Franklin, and Pastor Durham have always been committed to preaching the uncompromised "Word Of God" in our services. It is their belief that the full gospel should be taught. Not only about salvation through Jesus Christ, but also judgment.

We're Growing Rapidly From Humble Beginnings
Alabama City Church is over 120 years old. It is one of the oldest churches in Etowah County, and has gone through many changes over the many years. In January of 2025 we began a transformation to rebuild Alabama City Church, our membership base, and re-establish ourselves within the Gadsden Community as a sought after place of worship. God has blessed us tremendously in our endeavors. We are thankful for all that we have achieved by grace; and also are grateful for other church pastor's that have assisted us in our reestablishing the church as a center focus in Gadsden, Alabama.
Alabama City Church - Special Church Events
THE 2025 "BUILD A BED" PROJECT FOR KIDS
Evey year several churches come together to participate in the "Build A Bed for Kids Project". It is wonderful program whereby beds are donated to children who have been sleeping on floors in hardship situations. This year all of our Alabama City Church members in these photos participated in the program to help build beds for children. We are so proud of these members, and their dedication to this cause today 10/25/25, led by Pastor Chuck, of Alabama City Church. Over 120 beds were built in just a few hours. What an amazing blessing that was. The names of Member's Who Helped "Build A Bed" were Pat Bradford, Paul Bradford, Dianne Durham, Pastor Chuck Durham, Brandon Curtis, and Matthew Hanna.
THE BAPTISMS OF YOUNG ISSAC AND LITTLE EVE WILLIAMS OF THE WILLIAMS FAMILY
Today 10/19/25, at church services, Pastor Chuck and Pastor Franklin was extremely blessed to baptize two (2) beautiful children (L-R) Issac and little Eve Williams from the family of Sandra and Bradley Williams. What a tremendous blessing this was for us today. What really blessed me (Pastor Franklin) the most, was to see young Issac speaking on his acceptance of his baptism and his trust and faith in Jesus Christ. Awesome! This is a very proud moment for Sandra and Bradley Williams. God bless your family and AMEN!
THE BAPTISMS OF A.C.C. MEMBER'S AT CAMP SAMATUNGA LAKE IN GALLANT, ALABAMA
Today 8/24/25, Pastor Franklin and Pastor Chuck had the honor to baptize Alabama City Church Member's at Camp Sumatanga Lake in Gallant, Alabama. What a blessed day it was followed by a church cookout with food piled up several tables long. This is the first time myself and Pastor Chuck baptized in a lake following the baptism practices of the Apostles, and John the Baptist and was truly an amazing experience which will be repeated again. Photos of the baptisms are in the picture slideshow at the bottom of this page.
THE BAPTISM OF A.C.C. MEMBER - DONNIE BRADFORD
Today 8/2/25, Pastor Franklin and Pastor Chuck had the honor to baptize Alabama City Church Member Donnie Bradford with family, friends, and member support. Donnie has literally grown up in the church as has taken the final step to solidify his faith and commitment to Jesus Christ. We are extremely proud of this moment for him, our church, and his family.
A Great Team That "Keeps On Giving"
Pat Bradford is a long standing member of Alabama City Church and is a dedicated Deacon of the church. He also is active in building management and church maintenance. We truly appreciate all the he does for the church.

Randy Black is the dedicated Sound Engineer for Alabama City Church, and is a master at blending overall perfect sound and video management for our weekly church services. We truly appreciate his talents for sound and video management.
Deanne Currier has literally grown up in the church as well and is a vital part of the musical team. Not only is she member of the A.C.C. Ladies Chorus. She also is a solo gospel artist and has been the piano player and Music Director for many years. Thank you Deanna for all you have done for Alabama City Church.
